Co-operation Journal Writing Rules


Arbitrators’ advice is taken before an article is published on the Journal. In order to publish such articles delivered to the Publication Board, the Board must find it acceptable with respect to these Writing Rules and the Arbitrators Committee must approve it. If such articles are not approved for publication, the relevant author(s) are informed accordingly

Articles on co-operation, agricultural management, economics, management, socio-cultural etc. in the world and Turkey are to be involved in the Üçüncü Sektör Kooperatifçilik (Third Sector Co-operative) Journal.

Articles must have a clear expression and be written with a 1.5 line spacing on a maximum of 15 standard pages, with one sides filled only. The technical and foreign terms, with no equivalent in Turkish, must be shortly clarified within parentheses.

In case of translated articles, the name, volume, issue, page number(s), author, and the relevant country of the source article are to be quoted. The original article copy must be appended, when appropriate.

Articles published on this Journal bear only the opinions of their authors. They are not binding on the Association.

The Publication Board decides on to publish or not to publish and how to publish the received articles. If necessary, the Board makes recommendations on shortening and correcti

Figures, graphs, and tables are to be numbered, and are to be quoted under the references, if they have any titles  

The name and title of author must be stated under the title of article, and if such author has an attached institution, its name must be stated under the first page

Sources utilized within scientific articles must be numbered within the text as (1), (2), etc. and be quoted at the end of text according to the sequence as referred to therein.
        if the source is an article; surname and name of author, full title of article, name of publisher, volume number, issue, year, and page number(s) are to be indicated;
        if the source is a book; surname and name of author, name of book, name of editor (if present), name of publisher, publication place, publication number, year, and page number(s) are to be indicated; and
        if the source is a paper; name and surname of author, title of paper, title of congress, seminar, or conference, place of organization, year, page number(s) are to be indicated;


The articles must have an English title and an English and Turkish abstract with a maximum of 50 words.

The parts constituting the main theme of an article and other significant parts must be underlined.

After the arbitrator fee is reduced from royalty, which is to be calculated on the basis previously determined by the Turkish Co-operative Association for such articles, the remainder shall be paid to author.

Five apiece journals are to be delivered to authors, whose articles are published on the Journal.
